I created this website to expose my art to others. To share it, but not to give it away. When I travel, I enjoy handing the people I meet a card with this website address on it, and would like to continue to do so without fear that I am shooting off my own foot. It is a cliche to say it but I will say it anyway. I have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the artwork I create, and it has taken the whole of my life to paint in the manner I do now. This website is the best opportunity I have to share my art until I have a bigger stage to prop my easel and show my work. In short, be something good in the world - raise a spark to better the Universe, don't bring it down.

When it comes to original works or art, the copyright law of 1976, basically states that any work created on or after January 1, 1978 is protected by common law copyright immediately after the artist completes it some recognizable form. I personally reserve the copyright during the sale of any work unless the copyright is sold with the sale of the orginial work. This basically means buying a piece of art does not give the new owner the right to reuse the image of the work for personal use.
